Questions to answer before funding an AI use case: whether the data under it, its owners and its controls can carry it.

Whether an AI use case is ready to fund now, needs data work first, or should wait, judged on the data and controls underneath it rather than on the model.
How to use it
- Fill it in for one use case at a time, with someone from the business, the data team and security in the room.
- Mark each answer as checked or assumed. An assumption is a question to settle, not an answer.
- Start the work where the answers disagree, or where most of them are assumed.
