  • Near real-time replication and Gold reporting models for a smart mobility partner, with Apache Iceberg, dbt and Trino
  • Data governance for the lakehouse: lineage, PII cataloguing and query-time access control with OpenLineage, OpenMetadata and Apache Ranger
  • wb-cdc-analytics, a public one-command CDC pipeline: PostgreSQL, Debezium, Redpanda, ClickHouse, dbt and Airflow, monitored with Prometheus and Grafana
  • On the side: Amharic small language model quantization (paper in review, 2026) and Amharic OCR
