Every visitor
- The site runs on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel records requests, including the IP address and browser, to run and protect the service, and keeps those records for a short period under its own policy.
- Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. I see totals per page, country and referrer, not individual visitors.
- The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The theme you choose is kept in your own browser.
The contact form
When you send a message, your name, email, subject and message go to me through a Telegram bot. This site does not store them. I keep messages in my inbox as long as the conversation needs them, and delete them when you ask.
Walkthrough requests
When you send a request from the walkthrough page, I store your name, work email, company, role, an optional LinkedIn profile, what you would like to cover, the time you agreed to this note and its version, the country your connection comes from, your network with the last part of the IP address removed, and your browser. The request is kept in a database run by Neon in Frankfurt, Germany, and I get a notice through Telegram. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is sent by a person.
The purpose is to answer your request and to keep the form free of abuse. The legal basis is your consent, given when you send the request, and my legitimate interest in protecting the form. Requests that are declined or withdrawn are deleted after six months, and unanswered ones after twelve months. Records of my answers are deleted after twelve months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, withdraw your consent at any time, and object to how it is used. Write to me at either address above. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
